Our Values

Focused

We have a laser focus on complex payment processing. While it can be difficult to explain our business to the uninitiated, our customers immediately understand the value we provide and are often refreshed to find an entire company full of people who live and breathe the use cases that run their business.

Innovative

Our platform is constantly evolving and improving. Our customers love our ability to rapidly adjust to new payment types and requirements. We are open to building new functionality for our customers and have done so many times in the past. When we find a winning feature or module, we build it and extend it to all of our customers in the next release.

Trusted

Above all else, we are trusted by our customers. With oversight from City National Bank, we have built a highly secure and highly available infrastructure that will protect your most sensitive data at all times, while providing industry-leading uptime.

Mike Hurst

CEO & CO-FOUNDER
Mike is a software industry veteran who spent many years at Oracle helping traditional software companies launch Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings. During his time as a senior manager at Oracle, Mike was exposed to the inefficiencies surrounding residuals distribution in the media and entertainment industry, and he began to develop the relationships and insights that would form the basis for Exactuals. He incubated the business model over the course of his time at Stanford Graduate School of Business with guidance from some of Silicon Valley’s most trusted advisors. Mike holds degrees from Santa Clara University and Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.

Jason Hiller

CTO & CO-FOUNDER
Before starting Exactuals, Jason spent several years as an enterprise architect at Oracle, where he worked closely with Mike Hurst to address the needs of clients in the general software and media & entertainment industries. Through this role, Jason witnessed firsthand many of the technology hurdles associated with the residuals payment process. Jason is considered an authority on all things middleware and has a clear vision for the automated future of residuals. Jason received his BS from Syracuse University.
