CEO & Co-founder Mike is a software industry veteran who spent many years at Oracle helping traditional software companies launch Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings. During his time as a senior manager at Oracle, Mike was exposed to the inefficiencies surrounding residuals distribution in the media and entertainment industry, and he began to develop the relationships and insights that would form the basis for Exactuals. He incubated the business model over the course of his time at Stanford Graduate School of Business with guidance from some of Silicon Valley's most trusted advisors. Mike holds degrees from Santa Clara University and Stanford University's Graduate School of Business.
CTO & Co-founder Before starting Exactuals, Jason spent several years as an enterprise architect at Oracle, where he worked closely with Mike Hurst to address the needs of clients in the general software and media & entertainment industries. Through this role, Jason witnessed firsthand many of the technology hurdles associated with the residuals payment process. Jason is considered an authority on all things middleware and has a clear vision for the automated future of residuals. Jason received his BS from Syracuse University.
COO Having held senior leadership positions at City National Bank, Intuit, and IP3 Networks, Bryan Walley has a deep understanding of the money movement, audit, and risk management elements of Exactuals’ business. His role on the team perfectly combines his love of technology and automation with his background in financial services and process improvement. He earned both his undergraduate and MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.
Chief Product Officer
Ilie Ardelean brings over 15 years of product management and development experience. While at Green Dot, a high-growth payments company, he designed and delivered innovative payments solutions for Walmart, Intuit and Amazon, supporting over 5 million active users. Ilie is passionate about the customer experience, high quality, and scalable products, and his SaaS products have served over 15,000 enterprise accounts across multiple industries including banking, payments, automotive telematics, and shipping. He previously led the Connected Car product line for Spireon, and was a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting. Ilie earned an MBA degree from USC, and a Computer Science bachelor’s degree from UC Irvine.
Director of Customer Success With over five years of Residuals processing and tracking experience at AFTRA and SAG-AFTRA, Rebecca Green brings a unique “insider” perspective to the Exactuals team. While working for a union, Ms. Green came to understand the special challenges of processing and tracking Residuals checks and data. A creative problem solver and constant tinkerer, she’s always asking questions to better understand her way in and through a problem. Spanning a variety of industries, Ms. Green has acquired nearly 10 years of project management and customer support experience. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Scripps College in Claremont, California.
Director of Software Engineering
Prior to his role as Senior Lead Developer at Exactuals, Kevin was the Director of Software Engineering at Technicolor, where he led the digital media service development from prototyping to launch. Kevin has worked on building enterprise solutions for financial service and IT service management throughout his career, including being the Development Manager within First American’s enterprise technology group, where he led the development and delivery of SaaS solution for mortgage data processing. Kevin holds an MS in Computer Science from Ball State University.

Mike has made a career of architecting and maintaining some of the Internet's most iconic destinations including: Yahoo!, Edmunds.com, TrueCar.com, Foreclosure.com. Working in such environments with upwards of 40,000 hosts under his team’s direct responsibility, Mike has gained a unique set of skills required to insure the scalability of today’s distributed, high volume and mission critical applications. Regardless of working as an individual contributor, a technical team lead or as a team's manager, Mike has always emphasized the benefits of process automation, strong security and high levels of cooperation with developer. Mike received his degrees from the University of Connecticut - where he began his career as a student working in the Data Communication group in 1995.

She has led and managed front-end development teams throughout the course of her career and is very passionate about building user-focused software solutions/products. Prior to Exactuals, Aisha has worked at Evite, Citibank, Toyota, MyLife, Pearson Education and J.Hilburn. She holds a BS in Math/Applied Science from UCLA.

Suneela has been working in entertainment industry for more than 10 years designing web applications and delivering web services. While working at E! Entertainment she participated in creating dynamic web site for “E!". At universal Music group, she demonstrated ability to design and develop large-scale web application, which maintains consumer information and manages email campaigns. At Technicolor, she successfully assisted delivering Web Portal that offers end-to-end and a la carte digital supply chain solutions for download, streaming and on-demand content delivery. At MGO worked on rights management, coupon management, search and recommendation personalization, user management, billing and handling catalog data components that incorporates Rest API for web service. She built Customer service portal and assistedin resolving all customer issues.

Rafael has been working as Software Engineer for over 13 yrs. Having worked as a full-stack engineer for much of his career, he has experience with various open source frameworks and technologies which he leverages to build back-end software components and directly contribute to the development effort of various sub-systems. He has consulted at Warner Music, Northrup Grumman, Sustain Technologies and was previously employed by Raytheon and Entertainment Partners.

Sanjay Sahni has over 15 years of experience designing and writing real time trading applications with wall street. He has worked closely with clients gathering requirements & managing teams of in-house and remote developers to deliver quality projects in timely fashion. His last project before leaving Wall Street while working at Morgan Stanley was helping with the facebook IPO.
Lead Software Engineer
Praneeth has over 10 years of experience in designing and developing large scale backend systems using Java, Node JS and other modern enterprise cloud technologies across entertainment, rewards, health and insurance industries. He holds multiple patents to constitute his architectural thinking and software design capabilities. Praneeth has previously worked at Technicolor, Kaiser Permanente and holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Information Technology.
Katie has 16 years of customer service for companies including AT&T, Olan Mills Photography, Century National Insurance Company, The Veterinary Care Center, and her own photography business, Kate Elizabeth Photography. For 5 years, she has been bookkeeper and personal assistant for E.D. Michael, Consulting Geologist. She is also a freelance proofreader and was copy editor for two years for the newspaper at Pierce College, where she obtained her associate degree in Arts and Humanities in 2012.

He worked as a developer at Scient Consulting, was a Director of Engineering at DNAStudio, and a Lead Architect / Developer at Sustain/Daily Journal. He graduated from UCLA with a BS in Cognitive Science / Computing, with a specialization in Business and Management.

Hai Huang is a product leader with more than 10 years of experience in product management and Agile development at both Fortune 500 institutions and venture-backed startups. Prior to Exactuals, he held senior positions at Spireon, Invoca, News Corp., and Disney, where his experiences spanned AdTech, content distribution and monetization, and vehicle telematics. The products he built in these areas continue to serve thousands of enterprise customers as well as the consumer market at large. Hai is a keen observer of the ever-changing landscape of entertainment and content technologies and warring media revenue models. He received an M.Sci. degree from the University of Southern California and earned his MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Asha has worked in the entertainment industry for over 18 years and has a wealth of experience in managing projects across product development, web based products, ERP systems, and product integrations. Further, she brings expertise in strategic planning, business process optimization, and leading technical teams. She has held leadership positions at Entertainment Partners and Warner Bros, among others. She has overseen projects related to Residuals, Payroll, Budgeting, Scheduling, and other products. She holds a degree in Computer Science and certifications in Project Management, Product Management, Client Relationship Management, and ITIL.

With over 15+ years in the Music Industry, Jay has established himself as a talented, well-rounded music industry professional. It was an internship at Motown Records that stirred Jay’s initial passion for the music business. From there he moved on to significant tenures with both Warner/Chappell and ASCAP, where he worked directly with artists and songwriters across all genres. Jay’s passion for music runs deep. He is truly recognized for his passion for the art of music. He's an advocate of music education and enrichment, through board memberships with some of the most esteemed music organizations in existence. He served as a Governor of the Board for the Los Angeles Chapter of The Recording Academy from 2013 to 2014. He has also served on the National Board of Directors for AIMP (Association of Independent Music Publishers) from 2005 until 2007, he’s currently a member of NARAS (National Academy of Recording Arts & Science) and member of NARIP (National Association of Record Industry Professionals). Jay continues to raise the bar with many contributions and endeavors in the industry.

Prior to Exactuals, Jack was the Principal at Segue Digital. Previously, he was the Chief Operating Officer at Cezame Music Publishing and was a Consultant at Live Nation Studios, the recording arm of Live Nation Worldwide, Inc., where he consulted on Business Development, Product Development, Marketing Research and Strategy. Prior to Live Nation, he was Director of Digital Sales and Marketing at Warner Music Group's Alternative Distribution Alliance, where he oversaw online sales and marketing strategies. He has over 15 years of executive sales experience in the music industry.
Peggy Dold has in-depth global sales, business development, and strategic marketing experience in the English- and Spanish-language entertainment markets, working with licensing, label, and distribution partners worldwide.
Previously, Peggy was Vice President, International, for the Univision Music Group, where, in addition to her International marketing responsibilities, she served as the digital and mobile point of contact for the company.
With more than 30 years of experience in the entertainment industry, Peggy has held executive positions that include Consulting for MTV Networks Latin America, Head of Artist Relations for Crescent Moon Records (a joint venture between Emilio Estefan and Sony Music International), and Vice President, Marketing, for Island Record’s Independent Label Group.
Holly joined the Exactuals team one year ago after a 25-year career in Entertainment Banking where she served as the SE Entertainment Team Manager for City National Bank. In addition to working in the banking industry, Holly served as CFO in the OTT, TV, Film, and Broadcasting industry.
Holly is the co founder of Nashville-Access, an International Media Company with a one-hour country radio show that airs globally, and is the owner of a music publishing company.
Born and raised in Nashville, Chris has been in music his entire life. His career officially began at age 15 as a session player and later as a touring musician. His passion for music is only equaled by the underlying technologies and data that drive its curation, discoverability, insights, and accurate payments. A veteran of Apple Inc., label president, and most recently, Founder and CEO of Dart Music Inc., Chris has been fortunate to serve some of the greatest teams in music technology. Chris holds a degree in classical music composition from Middle Tennessee State University and remains an avid composer.
